Dr. Joshua Clermont OD (Associate Optometrist)
Dr. Joshua Clermont was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. After attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he moved to Boston for his optometric training at New England College of Optometry. Dr. Clermont then trained as an ocular disease resident at the Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System in Tacoma, WA. After his training, he worked for several years at a surgical clinic in Seattle called Northwest Eye Surgeons, where he sub-specialized in glaucoma and perisurgical management.
Dr. Clermont has a passion for problem-solving and he enjoys practicing full-scope optometry with patients of all ages. He loves educating patients and families about their vision problems and working together with them to develop personalized treatment plans.
Dr. Clermont is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry since 2019. He is new to Chicago, and in his free time, he enjoys exploring the city with his wife and daughter. He also likes to travel, play guitar, and snowboard.
