Village Eyecare’s Summer 2019 Events in Chicago
Aside from the warmer weather, our favorite part about summer at Village Eyecare is taking part in all of the community festivals and events! Whether you’re a beer lover, hunting for family-friendly activities, or looking for a way to make a difference, our list of events has something for you.
Events will be added and updated as they’re announced by the Chicago Parks Department and City Chambers Offices, so be sure to bookmark this page and check back periodically for new additions!
Do Division Street Fest 2019
Friday, May 30th – Saturday June 1st
We couldn’t be more excited to continue our tradition of hosting a Trunk Show at our Wicker Park location for all street fest visitors! DoDivision takes place on Division Street between Damen and Leavitt in West Town Chicago and features two live music stages, a wide variety of local vendors and food, and a dedicated Family Fun Fest area with kid-friendly activities. Make sure you stop by Village Eyecare to check out our selection, snag some designer deals, and fun activities for the little ones!

VisionWalk 2019
Sunday, June 1st
We are continuing our mission to find a cure for blindness again this year with VisionWalk! For the past few years, Village Eyecare has assembled a Walk Team to raise money for the research and treatment of blinding retinal diseases. We invite you to join our team to participate, or if you can’t walk with us, you can do so in spirit by making a donation to the Foundation Fighting Blindness by clicking here. VisionWalk takes place at Busse Woods (also known as Ned Brown Preserve) in Elk Grove.

Movies in the Park
Thursday, July 25th
For the first time, Village Eyecare will be sponsoring Movies in the Park in Wicker Park on July 25th. The Chicago Parks Dept. is still in the process of releasing all of the movie titles, but it’s exciting to be a part of this community tradition. Be sure to stop by our table!
Check out the Chicago Parks Dept. website for the full list of Movies in the Park nights in your neighborhood. Movies start at dusk, which slightly varies throughout the summer, so be sure to check your weather app first!
