We have two great events coming up on June 2, and we'd love for you to join us!
Village Eyecare has organized a VisionWalk team to raise money for the research and treatment of blinding retinal diseases. Dr. Sood and the rest of the Village Eyecare team are passionate about finding a cure for these types of diseases. Dr. Sood's interest began over 20 years ago when she was a volunteer at a school for the blind in India. Since then, she has been involved in various efforts to raise awareness about different forms of blindness.
We invite you to join our team and participate in the walk on June 2 at 9 a.m. at Busse Woods in Elk Grove Village. If you can't make it, you can make a donation to our team page at Foundation Fighting Blindness (link to Donation page). Over 10 million Americans suffer from vision loss because of retinal disease, and these fundraising efforts are designed to give them hope for a cure.
We are also very excited for the Do Division Street Fest in Wicker Park on June 2! From noon to 6pm, we will be hosting a Village Eyewear Trunk Show and serving up refreshments and tasty treats for you to enjoy. Just like last year, we're hosting a raffle for a FREE pair of frames and a FREE pair of lenses. So stop by and say "hi" to try on all of the latest Village Eyewear styles and enter to win some great prizes as you enjoy this super fun festival.
