Everyone in this office was so unbelievable kind, knowledgeable, and helpful, and Dr. Elizabeth Urbaniak is GREAT. She thoroughly explained all of my options, the pros and cons for each, and she gave me the space to decide for myself. I didn’t feel pushed in any one direction. I felt very comfortable asking her questions and sharing my concerns, and she addressed each of them. Honestly, she is one of the best optometrists I’ve ever seen, and I will be coming back to her for as long as I live here. Highly recommend!”

They have lots of after-work appointments, so it was easy to make the appointment, which started on time and went smoothly. I returned a few days later to look at glasses and they kept track of my choices until I was ready to make the decision a few days after that. We are excited to have a great Eye doc just around the corner from our apartment.

It’s so hard to find a place where you can find great glasses and also get fantastic care for kids. The staff is so patient and friendly, the selection is awesome, and the location is incredibly convenient as well! I absolutely love this place.

I started going to Village Eyecare on Taylor a couple of years ago since it is so close to my house. Since then I’ve referred a handful of people there. The doctors are great, the office is modern, clean, and I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about this place. One thing I like is that there’s never any pressure to purchase frames like other places that I’ve been to in the past. This place is highly recommended!

The staff here is great and the facility is always neat and clean. They don’t mind when I try on every single one of their glasses before making a decision. Ordering contacts is so simple and they can text you as soon as your order has arrived to the store. The Dr. Is informative and very nice. They make going to the eye Dr. enjoyable.

This shop is amazing. Actually I stand correted both the south loop and hyde park locations are phenomenal. Renita in particular helped me to choose a perfect frame that illuminates my eyes and highlights my face and the girls at the south loop location made my shopping a breeze by getting my glasses sent from the hyde park shop to the south loop for my convience all the while making me feel welcomed. This place is great, stop by!

This optometrist office offers great vision care for me and my little kids. I have astigmatism that changes a little every year and am on my way to bifocals – they are managing my vision with me very well. My kids just need annual exams and they are very good with them. They run the place professionally yet friendly and casual. The frame shop always has cool new frames to pick from. I love how high tech their appointment system is – you just book online and they email or text you reminders.

Great experience. Dr. Urbaniak was very patient, explained my options thoroughly, and gave sound recommendations. The staff was friendly and very enthusiastic about finding me frames that I would enjoy wearing. Josephine truly has an eye for frame fitting (pun intended)– the first pair she selected ended up being my absolute favorite! I really appreciate that the practice managers took the time to explain my payment options.

The staff is one of the best I have seen at any medical facility here in town. They are friendly and work with you to find the best available appointment, give you feedback on frame selection. Dr. Sarai was friendly and patient in answering my questions and he provides detailed view of the state of your eyes in relation to age and potential challenges that may be in your path.
